Storage
Purgeable space
Disk space macOS can free automatically when it needs room.
What it is
Some storage holds files macOS can delete safely and recreate or redownload later: caches, optimized iCloud files and local snapshots. That's purgeable space.
Finder's Get Info and Disk Utility may count it as available, which is why different places show different free space.
Should you worry?
No. macOS frees it automatically when apps need the space.
